On the court's own motion we dismiss this appeal for failure to timely file the notice of appeal.

Appellant filed his notice of appeal on January 15, 1991. The notice stated that the order being appealed was rendered on December 12, 1990. Since appellant's notice of appeal would have had to have been filed on January 11, 1991 to have been timely, this court issued an order to show cause why the appeal should not be dismissed for failure to timely...
