On October 7, 1988, appellant, Geraldine M. Pierce, a.k.a. Richardson, entered a plea of no contest to the charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and driving without a valid license. The trial court ordered a presentence investigation and sentencing was scheduled for December 14, 1988. At that time, the trial court imposed a sentence of thirty days in jail and a $250 fine on the reckless operation charge, plus one hundred eighty...
