Appellant Jack A. Gladding was indicted on May 8, 1979, on two counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated arson. On January 3, 1980, appellant was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was committed to Lima Hospital where he remained until September 1, 1981, at which time he was transferred to the Dayton Forensic Hospital.
