This matter is before the Supreme Court on appeal by the defendant, Aires Correia (Correia), from a Superior Court conviction of second-degree murder. The defendant appeals his conviction on numerous grounds. He claims that the trial justice committed error (1) by denying the defendant's motion to suppress an inculpatory statement, (2) by admitting repetitious photographs of the decedent's body, (3) by admitting the autopsy report...
