This appeal addresses the extent to which a trial court, in a proceeding to modify child support, must determine and award support using the guidelines of Code § 20-108.2 when the prior award had been based upon an amount agreed to in a consent decree. Code § 20-108.2 provides that in "any judicial" proceeding to determine child support, there shall be a rebuttable presumption that the amount of the award shall be the sum resulting from applying...
