Defendant Lee Otis Jack appeals his conviction by a jury of forgery—uttering as genuine. § 570.090.1 R.S.Mo.1986. The testimony showed that defendant tried to cash a check drawn on the account of Greg Drees at the Mercantile Bank. Mr. Drees testified that the check came from his checkbook, which someone had stolen with his car several days earlier...
