Derek W. Dixon appeals from the Douglas County District Court's denial of postconviction relief under Neb.Rev.Stat. §§ 29-3001 et seq. (Reissue 1989).

The State charged Dixon with first degree murder, a violation of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 28-303 (Reissue 1989), and alleged that Dixon, "during the perpetration of, or attempt to perpetrate a burglary," killed the victim identified in the information filed against Dixon. A jury found...
