CRAIN, Judge.

The defendant, Donald Trosclair, was charged by grand jury indictment with aggravated rape, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty of the responsive offense of forcible rape, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42.1. Subsequently, the defendant was adjudicated a second felony habitual offender. He received a sentence of twenty-five years at hard labor, including at least two years without benefit of parole...
