WILLIS, Judge.

Convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Robert L. Stokes contends on appeal that the trial court erred in receiving into evidence a certificate of laboratory analysis in violation of the filing requirements of Code § 19.2-187. We disagree and affirm the conviction.

Code § 19.2-187 provides:

In any hearing or trial of any criminal offense, a certificate of analysis...
