Defendant John Russell was charged with first-degree murder and unlawful use of weapons and was convicted of second-degree murder and unlawful use of weapons. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of imprisonment of 15 years and 364 days on the respective charges. No issues are raised on appeal on the unlawful weapons conviction.
