OPINION

MANNHEIMER, Judge.

The State of Alaska charged Danny J. Jeske with third-degree assault and second-degree weapons misconduct, AS 11.41.220(a)(1) and AS 11.61.210(a)(1). The superior court dismissed these charges because it ruled that Jeske had not been brought to trial within the time limits of Alaska Criminal Rule 45. We granted the State's petition for review of this dismissal, and we now reverse the superior court and reinstate the charges against...
