The appellant was indicted for first degree arson, in violation of § 13A-7-41, Code of Alabama 1975; first degree sexual abuse, in violation of § 13A-6-66, Code of Alabama 1975; and second degree assault, in violation of § 13A-6-21, Code of Alabama 1975. He was convicted of first degree sexual abuse and second degree assault. He was acquitted on the arson charge. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison...
