The defendant stands convicted of raping the 17-year-old complainant during the early morning hours of January 19, 1988. At trial the complainant testified that she spent the night preceding the attack with a friend in Rockaway, Queens. At 4:30 that morning, she left her friend's house, and headed for the train station in order to return...
