This appeal involves a medical malpractice action brought in the Superior Court by the plaintiff-appellant, Donald Ogden ("Ogden") against multiple defendants, including the defendant-appellee, James V. Gallagher, M.D. ("Dr. Gallagher"). Ogden filed his complaint on July 19, 1989. Dr. Gallagher subsequently submitted a motion for summary judgment on the basis that Ogden's complaint was time barred.
