After a jury trial, defendant Thomas Defyn was found guilty of criminal sexual assault and unlawful restraint and sentenced to 14 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. We consider: (1) whether the prosecutor made improper comments in closing and rebuttal arguments; (2) whether the trial court erred in preventing the defendant's cross-examination of the victim about her refusal to talk to a defense investigator...
