The plaintiffs appeal from the Superior Court's (Hampsey, J.) denial of their motion for additur or, in the alternative, for a new trial in their consolidated negligence actions against the defendant. The plaintiffs assert that the court abused its discretion in denying the motion after the jury chose to award no damages, although the defendant had stipulated to liability.
