This is an appeal from a judgment of the trial court, following a jury trial awarding the defendant, the city of Waterbury (city), damages by way of indemnification from the third party defendant, Mattatuck Beef Company (Mattatuck), and its driver, the third party defendant Robert Adamovicia, for sums the city paid in settlement of a liability claim arising out of the death of Joseph Hammond.
