Plaintiff appeals from a summary judgment entered for defendant. In this civil action arising out of the alleged negligent operation of an automobile, plaintiff seeks damages for personal injuries he suffered in September 1985 when an automobile driven by defendant's employee, allegedly in the course of his employment, collided with the automobile in which plaintiff was a passenger. Plaintiff settled his claim against the employee on 26 August 1987...
