Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the facts and as a matter of discretion, by reducing the principal sum award to the plaintiffs to $76,000, representing damages for wrongful death, and adding thereto a provision severing the plaintiff's claim for damages for conscious pain and suffering and granting a new trial with respect to damages for conscious pain...
