The Clients' Security Trust Fund of the Bar of Maryland (the Fund) was created in 1966 by rule of this Court, consistent with the earlier enactment by the General Assembly of Chapter 779 of the Acts of 1965. The principal purpose of the Fund is to reimburse, to the extent reasonable and possible, losses caused by defalcations of Maryland lawyers who are acting either as attorneys or as fiduciaries.
