Plaintiff, David B. Elliott, Jr., filed suit against the defendant, Laboratory Specialists, Inc. (LSI) for negligently conducting and reporting a post-accident urinalysis.

Mr. Elliott was required by his former employer, Avondale Industries, Inc. to submit to a drug test after suffering an on the job injury December 10, 1985. LSI reported a positive test result, thereafter Mr. Elliott was terminated because he had allegedly violated Avondale...
