The defendant appeals from her conviction rendered after a jury trial, of assault in the second degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-60 (a) (2). The defendant raises several claims including that the trial court improperly permitted testimony concerning statements she had made and improperly allowed testimony that impeached her credibility.
