Following a bench trial, the trial court found that defendant had committed common law fraud and violations of the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (Ill.Rev.Stat.1983, ch. 121½, par. 262) (Consumer Fraud Act). Plaintiffs were awarded actual and punitive damages, costs and attorneys' fees.
