Defendant, Malcolm Gray, was convicted by a jury of official misconduct, in violation of section 33-3(b) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Code) (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, par. 33-3(b)), and sentenced to 30 months' probation. The trial court imposed various probationary conditions upon defendant, including a six-month jail sentence and a $60,000 restitution payment.
