This attorney disciplinary proceeding involves ethical misconduct in a criminal matter. Respondent, Brian P. Williams, is licensed to practice law in this state. From 1962 to 1986 he had a private practice which was originally located in Des Moines and later moved to West Des Moines. In 1986, he retired from the active practice of law.
