HOUSTON, Justice.

William H. Dobbins sued Dave Cummans for a trespass on property belonging to Dobbins and for removing a sprinkler system, landscaping plants, a cedar fence, and sign lettering from that property. The trial court directed a verdict in favor of Dobbins on the issue of liability; Cummans did not object to this ruling by the trial court.
