Following a bench trial, defendant James R. Mitchell was found guilty of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and sentenced to serve two concurrent ten-year terms in the Illinois Department of Corrections. On appeal, defendant argues that (1) the trial court erred in ruling that R.J.M. was competent to testify; (2) the trial court erred in allowing several State witnesses to testify as to the specific details...
