On or about March 19, 1986, Prudential Insurance Company issued a policy of insurance in the amount of twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars on the life of Pauline Grimes. Named as beneficiary was Helen M. Grimes, the sister of the insured. Pauline Grimes died on March 18, 1987, and her sister made claim for the policy proceeds.
