The defendant, Renee Walton, was found guilty after a bench trial of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and sentenced to imprisonment for eight years. The principal issue is whether evidence seized from her and a statement she made should have been suppressed. In deciding this question we have considered the evidence heard at trial as well as the evidence heard on the motion to suppress. See People v. Caballero...
