Marshall Presha Pinkney was indicted for the offense of trafficking in cocaine, in violation of § 13A-12-231, Code of Alabama 1975. He entered a guilty plea on that indictment, was allowed to withdraw his plea, and was subsequently re-indicted on the same charge. The jury found Pinkney guilty as charged in the indictment, and he was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment and was fined $250...
