Plaintiffs, Atlanta International Insurance Company and Royal Insurance Company, filed a declaratory judgment action seeking a determination that they had no duty to provide excess insurance coverage for losses arising out of an accident involving Checker Taxi and one of its drivers, an additional insured. Atlanta and Royal contended that they were discharged from contractual liability under their excess insurance policies...
