This is an appeal from the denial by the trial court of the plaintiff's motion to open a judgment of dissolution for the purpose of modifying the award of periodic alimony. We are asked to decide whether the court was bound to consider an inheritance received by the defendant several years after the original alimony award, the assets of which had vested in him but had not yet been distributed to him.
