The defendant appeals from a judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of one count of sale of a narcotic substance in violation of General Statutes § 21a-277 (a),1 and one count of possession of a narcotic substance, in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (a).2 In each instance, the narcotic substance involved was cocaine....
