Defendant Gene Allen was convicted of the burglary of a residence in Bryan County. Defendant's accomplice, who pleaded guilty to the charge against him, testified that defendant came up with the idea to burglarize the residence in question as the two men sat around drinking beer on the morning of the burglary.
