MOON, Judge.

Because the statutory scheme for spousal support does not permit the court to make a partial award, we reverse the trial court's order granting "partial lump sum" alimony in the amount of $150,000 to Freya J. Weizenbaum.

In June 1982, Lawrence M. Weizenbaum, alleging constructive desertion, filed for divorce. Later, Mrs. Weizenbaum, alleging desertion, filed a cross-bill for divorce. On July 27, 1984, the trial court granted the parties a divorce...
