Howard Street Jewelers, Inc., appellant, sued its accountant, Gilbert Wegad, appellee, a CPA, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County for professional malpractice, alleging his failure to discover defalcations by one of appellant's employees. Appellee defended on the basis that appellant was contributorily negligent.
