Defendant was indicted for murder (Count 1), felony murder during the commission of aggravated assault (Count 2) and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime (Count 3). The case was tried before a jury and defendant was found not guilty on Count 1, guilty of the lesser included offense of aggravated assault on Count 2, and guilty on Count 3.
