The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction of assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59 (a) (2) that was rendered after a jury trial.1 She claims that the judgment of conviction must be reversed because (1) there was insufficient evidence to support her conviction, and (2) the trial court improperly denied her request for a specific unanimity instruction.
