This action to recover for personal injuries sustained by plaintiff Margaret Perrotte as a result of her mother's ingestion of the drug diethylstilbestrol (DES) during the pregnancy that resulted in plaintiff's birth in 1962, one of over 400 similar actions filed against DES manufacturers, was originally commenced against five pharmaceutical manufacturers, four of which have settled with plaintiffs...
