This appeal is brought by appellant, Walter D. Johnson, from his conviction on the charge of robbery in violation of R.C. 2911.02 with the "prior specification of violence."

On December 5, 1989, Marilyn Roberts and her mother, Betty Vanvliet, were robbed as they were leaving the Cabin Restaurant in Willowick, Ohio. A man approached the women, offered to assist them, and then grabbed the purses...
