This action arises out of a motor vehicle accident which occurred on March 30, 1985 in Jamaica, West Indies. Plaintiff Allayne Berkrot was a passenger in a rental vehicle being operated by Catherine Kalmanoff. Said driver Kalmanoff died as a result of the accident.
