Appellant Rafael Spinola, a federal prisoner currently serving a sentence for drug trafficking, appeals from the district court's denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. In his petition, Spinola contends that the Bureau of Prisons should give him a credit against his current sentence for the 579 days that he spent on appellate bond because the terms of his bond were so restrictive.
