Defendant-appellant Stanley Wade pled guilty to two counts of making false statements on tax returns in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7206(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2. Immediately prior to sentencing on these two counts, the defendant's attorney filed a motion to withdraw the guilty plea.
