Michael J. Kubalak appeals from a final judgment entered in the District Court1 for the District of South Dakota awarding Jane Hauser damages in the amount of $125,000 for injuries suffered in an automobile-pickup truck accident. For reversal, Kubalak argues the district court erred in denying his motions for directed verdict and for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or in the alternative for new trial.
