A jury found Sherman Nichols guilty of: 1) use of a firearm in relation to a drug-trafficking crime, 18 U.S.C. § 924(c); 2) possession of cocaine, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1); and 3) possession of a firearm by one previously convicted of a felony. 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).
