BISHOP, Judge.

Appellant, Lee Roy Thurman, was charged in the Circuit Court for Wicomico County with various robbery, weapon, assault, battery, false imprisonment, theft, and conspiracy offenses. After a hearing, the trial court denied Thurman's motion to dismiss, for failure to comply with the Interstate Agreement on Detainers, Md. Ann. Code art. 27, § 616A (1987 & Supp. 1991).

Thereafter, on November 23, 1990, Thurman pleaded not guilty to an agreed...
