Defendant appeals his convictions for kidnapping in the first degree, ORS 163.235, two counts of rape in the first degree, ORS 163.375, and menacing. ORS 163.190. He assigns as error, inter alia, the trial court's failure to sustain his objection to improper remarks made by the prosecutor during closing arguments and its rulings on his objections to testimony that the state elicited from him on cross-examination.
