Appellant was convicted of rape and aggravated sodomy. He contends that the State impermissibly placed his character in issue through testimony elicited by the prosecuting attorney and through her questions, entitling him to a mistrial. He further contends that the court erred in failing to instruct the jury to disregard the inadmissible evidence and improper remarks.
