STEFFEN, Justice:

Appellant, Harry A. Sanborn, was convicted by a jury of first degree murder with use of a deadly weapon and sentenced to two consecutive terms of life without the possibility of parole. Thereafter Sanborn filed a petition for post-conviction relief and a motion for a new trial. Both were denied.
