In this diversity case Dime Box Petroleum Corporation (Dime Box) owned an interest in various oil and gas leases that were being developed by the Louisiana Land and Exploration Company (LL & E). Dime Box sued LL & E claiming breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty. LL & E counterclaimed alleging breach of contract.
